A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK AUTHORIZING ENVIRONMENTAL ENHANCEMENT
AND MITIGATION PROGRAM GRANT APPLICATION
WHEREAS, the City of Baldwin Park recognizes the importance
of developing a transportation facility within its city limits.
WHEREAS, funds have been established by Assembly Bill AB 471
for the environmental enhancement and mitigation of environmental
impacts created by modified and new public transportation
facilities.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
believes that a need exists for such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the
City of Baldwin Park authorizes the submittal of an application to
the Resources Agency of California for an Environmental
Enhancement and Mitigation Program grant. The City Manager of the
City of Baldwin Park is hereby authorized and empowered to execute
in the name of the City of Baldwin Park all necessary
applications, contracts, and agreements and amendments hereto for
the purposes of securing grant funds and to implement and carry
out the purposes specified in this application.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park this 19th day of February, 1992.
