A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK,
CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING FILING OF GRANT
APPLICATION UNDER THE URBAN PARK AND
RECREATION RECOVERY ACT OF 1978
WHEREAS, the Urban Park and Recreation Recovery Act
of 1978 established a grant program to assist communities in
rehabilitation of park and recreation systems; and
WHEREAS, the City of Baldwin Park has been determined
eligible to apply for said funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, by the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park, 14403 East Pacific Avenue, Baldwin Park,
California, 91706, that the City Manager is authorized and
directed to file this grant application for $50,000 under the
title of Community Outreach Program, and to provide such
additional information as may be required with respect to the
City of Baldwin Park's participation in this program.
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Baldwin Park this 18th day of March, 1992.
