A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA, INITIATING
PROCEEDINGS FOR THE 1992-93 LEVY OF ANNUAL
ASSESSMENT FOR THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK
LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ASSESSMENT DISTRICT,
AND ORDERING THE PREPARATION 0 F A REPORT
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF DIVISION 15,
PART 2, OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF
THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
proposes to levy the annual assessment for the City of Baldwin
Park Landscaping and Lighting Assessment District hereinafter
referred to as the District") pursuant to the provisions of
Division 15, Part 2, of the Streets and Highways Code of the
State of California, being the Landscaping and Lighting
District Act of 1972"; and
WHEREAS, the City Council proposed that the net annual
cost for improvements, maintenance and/or service of certain
public facilities shall be fairly distributed among all
assessable lots and parcels in proportion to the estimated
benefits to be received by each such lot or parcel from the
improvements within the District; and
WHEREAS, the Provisions of said Division 15, Part 2,
requires a written report in accordance with Chapter 3
commencing with Section 22620).
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN
PARK, CALIFORNIA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE THAT:
1. The above recitals are all true and correct.
2. CITY ENGINEER is hereby ordered to prepare and file
with the City Council a Report" relating to the
1992-1993 levy of annual assessment for said
District in accordance with the Provisions of
Chapter 3 commencing with Section 22620) of Part
2 of Division 15 of the Streets and Highways Code
of the State of California.
3. Upon completion, said Report" shall be filed with
the City Clerk who shall then submit the same to
this City Council for its consideration pursuant to
Section 22623 of said Streets and Highways Code.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on May 6, 1992.

I, LINDA L. GAIR, City Clerk of the City of Baldwin Park, do
hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution No. 92-33 was
duly adopted by the City Council and signed by the Mayor of
said City at a regular meeting held on May 6, 1992 and that
the same was passed by the following vote:
