A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK RATIFYING A PROMISSORY NOTE
TO THE BALDWIN PARK REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND
APPROVING A FINANCING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AND THE BALDWIN PARK
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
WHEREAS, the Baldwin Park Redevelopment Agency
Agency") is a public body, corporate and politic, organized
under the California Community Redevelopment Law Health & Safety
Code 33000 et seq); and
WHEREAS, the City of Baldwin Park City") is a
municipal corporation and a general law city of the State of
California; and
WHEREAS, City and Agency mutually desire to effect a
conveyance of certain real property from City to Agency in
exchange for a promissory note from Agency to City in the amount
of the purchase price of the property by approval of a financing
agreement between City and Agency containing the note terms
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park resolves as follows:
SECTION 1 A promissory note given by Agency to the
City in the amount of Twenty-Two Thousand Dollars $22,000) is
hereby approved, subject to the terms of the Financing Agreement
described in Section 2
SECTION 2 The Financing Agreement between the City
and Agency effecting and documenting the note given by Agency to
City in the amount of Twenty-Two Thousand Dollars $22,000), a
copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City
Clerk, and which agreement is incorporated herein by this
reference, is hereby approved
APPROVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of May, 1992
