HomeMy WebLinkAbout1992 091 CC RESO1992 091 CC RESO(Ì첃 RESOLUTION NO. 92-91 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING THE CITY'S STANDARD PLANS FOR PUBLIC WORK CONSTRUCTION WHEREAS, the City has adopted Standard Plans for Public Works Construction by Resolution No. 69-35 as amended by Resolution No. 76-85 and 88-83; and WHEREAS NOW, the City wishes to amend the Standard Plans for Public Works Construction; and NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City's Standard Plans For Public Works Construction dated September, 1992 which are attached hereto as Exhibit A" and incorporated by this reference are hereby adopted and shall hereafter be used by the City for all public works construction within its jurisdiction. SECTION 2. All previous approvals of Standard Plans For Public Works Construction which are in conflict with this Resolution are hereby recinded. SECTION 3. A copy of such Standard Plans for Public Works Construction shall be maintained on file in the office of the Director of Public Works. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and shall forward a certified copy thereof to the Director of Public Works of the City of Baldwin Park. NOTES: 1. Minimum distance between drive approach and curb return shall be 25 ft. 2. Minimum distance between residential drive approach and utilities, ic. power poles, gas meters, etc., is 2 ft. from edge of drive approach x". Minimum distance for commercial drive approach is 4 ft. from edge of drive approach x". 3. WHERE REMOVAL OF GRADE RINGS WOULD RESULT IN THE UPPER SEGMENT OF THE SHAFT BEING LESS THAN 12 INCHES IN HEIGHT, REMOVE THE REDUCER AND SUFFICIENT SECTIONS OF THE LOWER SEGMENT OF THE SHAFT AND REINSTALL ANY NECESSARY SEGMENT OF THE LOWER SHAFT, THE REDUCER. AND THE GRADE RINGS TO CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS PLAN. C.
