A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK NOMINATING
MARTIN GALLEGOS COUNCILMAN
TO SERVE ON THE SAN GABRIEL BASIN WATER
QUALITY AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, SB 1679 created the San Gabriel Basin Water
Quality Authority; and
WHEREAS, the legislation provided for two city
representatives on the Board of Commissioners, one from a city with
pumping rights and one from a city without pumping rights; and
WHEREAS, the' City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
may nominate one of its City Councilmembers to serve on the
Authority as a representative of those cities without pumping
rights.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That Martin Gallegos. Councilman is
nominated to serve on the Authority Board of Commissioners to serve
as a representative of cities without pumping rights.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution and forward a copy hereof to the
appropriate authority.
PASSED and ADOPTED November 18, 1992.
