A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK ORDERING THE VACATION OF A
PORTION OF THE STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY OF BOREL
STREET BETWEEN NUBIA STREET TO CRAGMONT STREET
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does hereby find, determine and declare as follows:
a) In accordance with the Provisions of
Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation
Law" Section 8300 et. seq. Streets and Highways Code) the
City Council of the City of Baldwin Park adopted a
Resolution declaring its intention to vacate a certain
portion of a public street, to wit: a portion of the
street right-of-way of Borel Street between Nubia Street to
Cragmont Street in the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los
Angeles, State of California, as is more described herein;
b) Said Resolution and the Notice of Vacation
were duly posted, all in the form, place, time and manner
required by law and all legal requirements have been met;
c) The City Council, conducted the hearing
required by said Resolution of Intention and heard all
evidence offered in relation to the proposed vacation, and
considered the effect thereof on the City's General Plan;
d) The Provisions of Government Code Section
65402 a) do not apply to this vacation as the disposition
of this property constitutes the disposition of the
remainder of a larger parcel which was acquired and used in
part for street purposes and alignment purposes, and is of
a minor nature;
e) The portion of the public street proposed
for vacation hereunder is described in Exhibit B";
f) Based upon the evidence, it is found
hereby that said STREET AREA is unnecessary for present or
prospective public use nor, is the same useful as a non-
motorized transportation facility;
g) The STREET AREA proposed for vacation is
illustrated on Exhibit A", attached hereto, and
incorporated herein by this reference;
h) From and after the date of recordation of
this resolution,the above-described STREET AREA shall no
longer constitute a public street.
SECTION 2. Based upon the foregoing, said STREET AREA
is hereby ordered vacated as an existing public street,
provided that all of the easements and rights-of-way as
described in Section 8340 a) of the Streets and Highways
Code are excepted and reserved.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to
certify to the passage of this Resolution and shall cause
a certified copy hereof to be recorded in the Office of the
County Recorder, Los Angeles County, State of California.

for public street, sewer, and drainage puposes and all uses appurtenant thereto
in over and upon that certsin real property in the City of Baldwin Park, County of
Los Angeles, state of California, described as follows:
The west 30 feet of the South 126 feet of the North 441 feet of the South half of
the West half of the west half of the Norhtwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of
Section 8, Township 1 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Meridian, in the City
of Baldwin Park, according to the Official Pal of said land filed in the District Land
Office on January 16, 1879.
