A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK NOMINATING
COUNCILWOMAN MARGARET CLARK FOR
RE-ELECTION TO THE SEAT ON THE
BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SAN GABRIEL
BASIN WATER QUALITY AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, the people of the State of California have enacted the San Gabriel
Basin Water Quality Authority Act; and
WHEREAS, the effective date of the act was January 1,1993; and
WHEREAS, the act provides for the election of a five-person Board of
Directors; and
WHEREAS, cities within the boundaries of the Authority without pumping rights
are authorized one seat and one alternate seat on the Board; and
WHEREAS, the City of Baldwin Park is a city without pumping rights and is
within the boundaries of the Authority; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to nominate a member to this body to
serve on the Board representing cities without pumping rights.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does hereby place the name of Margaret Clark,
Councilwoman of the City of Rosemead, in nomination to continue
to fill the seat on the Board of Directors of the San Gabriel Basin
Water Quality Authority.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 21st day of September, 1994
