A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK ADJUSTING THE FEES CHARGED BY
AUTHORIZED TOW SERVICE COMPANIES WHICH
PROVIDE SAID SERVICE FOR THE CITY
WHEREAS, the City of Baldwin Park and its authorized tow service companies
operate under a Tow Service Agreement;" and,
WHEREAS, Section 4 of the Tow Service Agreement" requires City Council
approval by Resolution for any modification of the fees the tow service companies charge; and,
WHEREAS, the standards by which the City regulates the fees are in accordance
with fee rates recommended and established by the California Highway Patrol and the Los
Angeles County Sheriffs Department, and these entities recommended an increase in these fees
effective July 1, 1994;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN
PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 That the City Council does authorize the tow service companies with
whom the City has a signed Tow Service Agreement," to modify increase) their fees in
accordance with the recommended and established rates as set forth by the California Highway
Patrol and the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department as set in Exhibit A
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of October 1994
