HomeMy WebLinkAbout1996 041 CC RESO1996 041 CC RESO(퓦@ RESOLUTION NO. 96-41 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN RECORDS WHEREAS, Government Code Sections 34090 et seq. authorizes City Department Heads to destroy those City records, documents, instruments, books and papers after they are no longer required, with the approval of the Legislative Body by Resolution, and the written consent of the City Attorney. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park, that the Police Chief is hereby authorized to destroy the City records, documents, and books of paper as described in Exhibit A". These reports and records are no longer required for operation of the Police Department, are not required to be kept and retained by statutes and are not less that two years old.
