A RESOLUTION OP THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK,
CALIFORNIA. SETTING THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 1OT8-1999.
WHEREAS. Article XIIIB of the California Constitution requires the Legislative Body to establish an
Appropriations Limit annually beginning with the fiscal year ending June 30,1981; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is required by Section 7910 of the Government Code. to establish its
Appropriations LimH by Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Appropriations Urnit documentation has been available for public Inspection for the
required fifteen days. in accordance with Section 7910 of the Government Code. prior to the approval of the
Kmit by the Legislative Body.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby resotve as follows:
SECTION 1. The Appropriations Umrt for the fiscal year 1998-1999 has been determined to be
$36.488724. and was prepared using the change In California's Per Caprta personal income price factor of
4.15 and the population percentage factor of 1.26. as provided by the State Department of Finance, pursuant
to Sections 2227 and 2228 of the Revenue and Taxation Codes, calculated as of January 1.1998.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and the same shall
be in full force and effect immediately upon its adoption.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park this 15th day of July.
