CALIFORNIA, REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO ACCEPT ON BEHALF OF SAID DISTRICT. A TRANSFER AND CONVEYANCE OF STORM DRAIN IMPROVEMENTS KNOWN AS MISCELLANEOUS TRANSFER DRAIN NO. 1512 MTD 1512) PHASE 1A AND 18 LINE A) IN THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK FOR FURTHER OPERATION, MAINTENANCE, REPAIR AND IMPROVEMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER AND CONVEYANCE THEREOF WHEREAS, there have been dedicated to. or the City has otherwise acquired, the storm drain improvements and drainage system known as Miscellaneous Transfer Drain No 1512 described in Exhibit A attached hereto, and WHEREAS, the City is authorized and empowered to transfer and convey to the Los Angeles County Flood Control District any storm drain improvements and drainage system for future operation, maintenance. repair and improvement; and WHEREAS, the City and the Los Angeles County Flood Control District entered into an agreement dated September 18, 1979, and recorded January 23, 1980, as Document Number 80-86-450 of the Official Records in the office of the County Recorder for the County of Los Angeles whereby the City made certain warranties about its future transfer and conveyances of Flood Control facilities to the District, and WHEREAS, the public interest will be best served by transfer and conveyance of the storm drain improvements and drainage system described in Exhibit A attached hereto from the City of Baldwin Park to ihe Los Angeles County Flood Control District for future operation, maintenance and repair and improvement snc THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS SECTION 1. That the City does hereby request the Los Angeles County Flood Control District to accept the transfer and conveyance of the storm drain improvements and drainage system described in said Exhibit A, and SECTION 2. Phase 1A Construct 2.795 lineal feet of reinforce concrete pipe, 2.737 lineal feet of 72" reinforce concrete pipe, 72 lineal feet of 66" reinforce concrete pipe and two concrete boxes more or less and all appurtenances there to construct within existing right-of-way. Phase 1B Construct 1.258 lineal feet 84" reinforce concrete pipe more or less and all appurtenances there to construct within existing right-of-way.
