A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 2001-118 APPOINTING MARIO
S. VENTURA TO OFFICE NO. 3; MANNY DULOS
TO OFFICE NO. 4; AND DAVID CHOW TO
OFFICE NO. 5; OF THE PERSONNEL
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the terms of office for Personnel Commission Members Efren
Rivera, Office No. 3; Manny Dulos. Office No. 4; and Son Lieu. Office No. 5 will expire
on June 30. 2002; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of appointing and/or or reappointing
members to Office Nos. 3. 4 and 5 of the Personnel Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of staggering commission terms
whereby creating a one-time extension to Office Nos. 3, 4 and 5 to June 30, 2005.
Upon expiration of the term of office of Office Nos. 3.4 and 5, succeeding appointments
shall be for a term of two 2) years; and
WHEREAS, a Legal Notice was properly advertised regarding the
aforementioned terms of expiration and Council consideration of appointments to those
offices.
NOW. THEREFORE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDIWN PARK
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following named persons are hereby appointed as members
of Office Nos. 3, 4 and 5 of the Personnel Commission. Such appointee shall hold
office at the pleasure of the City Council and serve for the term as follows:
Office 1 Trina De Pedro for the term expiring June 30, 2004
Office 2 Gerald Dahlen for the term expiring June 30. 2004
Office 3 Mario S. Venture for the term expiring June 30, 2005
Office 4 Manny Dulos for the term expiring June 30, 2005
Office 5 David Chow for the term expiring June 30, 2005
Section 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and
forward a copy of this resolution to commission appointees and a copy to the
Recreation and Community Services Secretary.
