A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK. AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2002-058,
APPOINTING EFREN RIVERA TO OFFICE NO. 1, OF THE
PLANNING COMMISSION FOR THE UN-EXPIRED TERM
TO JUNE 30, 2003
WHEREAS, On July 31, 2002, staff received notification that Planning
Commissioner Ed Huetinck submitted his resignation, whereby creating an unexpired
vacancy in Office No. 1 of the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, at its meeting held August 7, 2002, the City Council expressed
desire to proceed with filling this vacancy in an expeditious manner; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with GC 54974. a Public Notice of Vacancy was
posted in three locations within the City. for 10 business-days; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of appointing a member to fill the un-
expired vacancy of Office No. 1 of the Planning Commission: and
WHEREAS, the appointment to Office No. 1 is made and entered onto this
Resolution for the un-expired term to June 30, 2003.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDIWN PARK
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following named person is hereby appointed as to Office No.
1 of the Planning Commission of the City of Baldwin Park. Such appointee shall hold
office at the pleasure of the City Council and serve for the term as follows:
Office 1 Efren Rivera for the term expiring June 30, 2003
Office 2 Monica Garcia for the term expiring June 30, 2003
Office 3 Gloria 1. Gonzalez for the term expiring June 30, 2004
Office 4 Anthony J. Bejarano for the term expiring June 30, 2004
Office 5 Milagros G. Alba for the term expiring June 30, 2004
Section 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and
forward a copy said appointee and to the Planning Commission Secretary.
