A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2002-038
APPOINTING FRANK TINOCO TO OFFICE NO. 2 FOR THE UN-
EXPIRED TERM TO JUNE 30. 2005; AND ROSE ACOSTA TO
OFFICE NO. 6 TENANT POSITION) FOR THE UN-EXPIRED
TERM TO JUNE 30, 2003, OF THE HOUSING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, at its meeting held July 2, 2002. the City Council appointed Housing
Commissioner Ana Lujan to the Recreation and Community Services Commission, whereby
creating an un-expired vacancy in Office No. 2 of the Housing Commission; and
WHEREAS, In accordance with Municipal Code Section 32.11, Commissioners shall be
qualified residents at all times during their term; and
WHEREAS, on July 15. 2002. staff received notification that Housing Commissioner
Marionette Savage had moved to Victorville, whereby, creating an un-expired vacancy in Office
No. 6, Tenant Position) of the Housing Commission; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with GC 54974, a Public Notice of Vacancy was posted in
three locations wrthin the City. for 10 business-days and notices were mailed to City of Baldwin
Park housing tenant/participants, which encouraged individuals to apply for the tenant position;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of appointing members to fill the un-expired
vacancy of Office No. 2. for the un-expired term to June 30, 2005. and to Office No. 6 Tenant
Position) of the Housing Commission for the un-expired term to June 30, 2003.
NOW. THEREFORE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDIWN PARK
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following named individuals are hereby appointed to office No. 2
and Office No. 6 Tenant Position) of the Housing Commission of the City of Baldwin Park and
shall hold office at the pleasure of the City Council and serve for the un-expired term as
follows:
Office 1 Oscar B. Marin
Office 2 Frank Tinoco
Office 3 HORTENCIA REYES
Office 4 Margarita R. Vargas
Office 5 Sally A. Wieck
Office 6 Rose Acosta

Section 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and forward
a copy to said appointee and to the Housing Commission Secretary.
PASSED. APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4th day of September, 2002.
