A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2002-056
APPOINTING GLORIA GARCIA TO OFFICE NO. 1. OF
THE PERSONNEL COMMISSION FOR THE UN-EXPIRED
TERM TO JUNE 30, 2004
WHEREAS, on September 5, 2002. staff received notification that Trina DePedro
had missed three 3) consecutive Personnel Commission meetings, whereby in
accordance with Baldwin Park Municipal Code Section 32.05. an unscheduled vacancy
was created in Office No. 1 of the Personnel Commission; and
WHEREAS, a Public Notice of Vacancy was posted in three locations within the
City and also in the October issue of the NOW publication; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of appointing a member to fill the un-
expired vacancy of Office No. 1 of the Personnel Commission; and
WHEREAS, the appointment to Office No. 1 is made and entered onto this
Resolution for the un-expired term to June 30, 2004.
NOW. THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDIWN PARK
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following named person is hereby appointed as member of
Office No. 1 of the Personnel Commission. Such appointee shall hold office at the
pleasure of the City Council and serve for the term as follows:

Gloria Garcia
Gerald Dahlen
Mark) S. Ventura
Manny Dulos
David Chow
for the term expiring June 30, 2004
for the term expiring June 30. 2004

Section 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and
forward a copy of this resolution to commission appointees and a copy to the Personnel
Commission Secretary.
