CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF STREET RIGHT- OF-WAY ON GARVEY AVENUE BETWEEN BIG DALTON AVENUE AND MERGED AVENUE, PROJECT V1-2002 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby declare its intention to consider the vacation of that certain street easement as shown in Exhibit A" attached hereto; and SECTION 2. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby elect to proceed under and by virtue of the provisions of Section 8300 et. seq. of the Street and Highways Code of the State of California; and SECTION 3. That the hour of 7:OOPM on January 15. 2003 is hereby fixed as the time, and the Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 14403 E. Pacific Avenue, City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, is hereby fixed as the place for hearing all persons interested in the proposed vacation as above described; and SECTION 4. That the Director of Public Works shati cause notice to be posted in the manner set forth in Section 8322 of the Street and Highways Code; and SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of the Resolution and shall cause the same as to be published or posted in the manner prescribed by law. APPROVED AND ADOPTED on November 20, 2002.
