A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK APPROVING A MODIFICATION TO A
SPECIFIC PLAN AND CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION 2001-
056 REDUCING THE NUMBER OF AFFORDABLE
DWELLING UNITS. LOCATION: 12800—12816
DALEWOOD STREET; CASE NO.: SP 01-2).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
hereby find, determine, and declare as follows:
a) That the Developers of certain real property located at 12800-
12816 Dalewood Street met with City staff and requested that the number
of affordable dwelling units in the Dalewood Project be reduced from seven
7) units to three 3) units; and
b) That the Planning Commission conducted a duly noticed
public hearing upon said matter and recommended that the request be
approved, but that the four 4) outstanding units not made available for
purchase by moderate income families be dispersed amongst the Maine
Avenue and/or Merced Avenue Project; and
c) That a duly noticed public hearing was held on said request
by the City Council, and based upon evidence presented including
applicable staff reports and each member of the Council being familiar with
the subject matter, the City Council determined that the said applications
should be granted, subject to the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth.
SECTION 2. That the City Council does hereby modify Section 2.0—Land
Uses, Subsection 2.1 which shall read as follows:
Construction of a thirty-four 34) unit single-family residential
development, sovon 7) three 3) of which will be provided for
moderate income households...
SECTION 3. That the City Council does hereby modify Resolution 2001-
056, Condition j) which shall read as follows:
That an agreement shall be recorded in the Office of the County
Recorded and shall constitute a covenant running with the land
which shall reserve the seven 7) three 3) affordable housing units
for qualified moderate income households for a minimum period of
thirty years...

SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution
and forward a copy hereof to the Secretary of the Planning Commission and the
Applicant.
