A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2003-071
AND APPOINTING INDIVIDUALS TO THE PERSONNEL
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK,
SPECIFICALLY:
APPOINTING CECELIA D. BERNAL TO OFFICE NO. 1
FOR A TERM TO JUNE 30. 2006;
APPOINTING BARRY LU TO OFFICE NO. 2 FOR A
TERM TO JUNE 30, 2006;
WHEREAS, the terms of office for Personnel Commission Members of Office No.
1 Cecelia D. Bernal) and Office No. 2 Jesalyn Marie Dunlap) expires June 30, 2004;
and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Baldwin Park Municipal Code Section 32.52,
appointments to Office Nos. 1, and 2, are made and entered onto this resolution for a
two-year term, expiring June 30, 2006; and
WHEREAS, a Legal Notice was properly advertised regarding the
aforementioned terms of expiration and Council consideration of appointments to those
offices.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following named persons are hereby appointed as members
of Office Nos. 1 and 2 and such appointee shall hold office at the pleasure of the City
Council and serve for the term as follows:
Office 1 CECELIA D. BERNAL
Office 2 BARRY LU
Office 3 JOHANNA GAONA
Office 4 LEONOR V. GARCIA
Office 5 FRANCISCO P. PABON
for the term expiring June 30, 2006
for the term expiring June 30, 2006
for the term expiring June 30, 2005
for the term expiring June 30, 2005
for the term expiring June 30, 2005
Section 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and
forward a copy of this resolution to commission appointees and a copy to the
commission secretary.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4™ day of August, 2004.
