A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN
PARK, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2006-007 APPOINTING
INDIVIDUALS TO THE HOUSING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK, SPECIFICALLY:
ABEDNEGO DEL ROSARIO TO OFFICE NO. 5 FOR A TERM
EXPIRING JUNE 30, 2011; AND
APPOINTMENT DEFERRED TO OFFICE NO. 6 TENANT
POSITION) FOR A TERM EXPIRING JUNE 30, 2009; AND
PATRICIA A. HOGAN TO OFFICE NO. 7 TENANT 62+ YEARS
OF AGE) FOR A TERM EXPIRING JUNE 30, 2009; AND
WHEREAS, the Housing Commission consists of seven 7) members, including
two members Office Nos. 6 and 7) who are tenants of the Housing Commission; and
WHEREAS, members are appointed to a four-year term on a staggered basis,
except for the Tenant Commissioners who serve two-year terms on staggered basis; and
WHEREAS, the terms of office for Office No. 5 Abednego Del Rosario) and Office
Nos. 6 and 7 Vacant) expire June 30, 2007; and
WHEREAS, subject notice was mailed to housing recipients on November 30,
2006 and on January 29, 2007, and published in the San Gabriel Valley Tribune on March
2, 16, 30, April 13 and 20th, 2007 and posted on the city's marquee beginning February 26,
2007. The deadline for receipt of applications was April 26, 2007 at 6:00 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to fill the scheduled vacancies of Office Nos.
5 and 7; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Sections 32.22(a and b) of the Baldwin Park
Municipal Code, appointments made to Office No. 5 is for a four-year term expiring June
30, 2011 and the appointment made to Office No. 7 is for a two-year term expiring June 30,
2009.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following named persons are hereby appointed as members of Office
Nos. 5, and 7, and such appointee shall hold office at the pleasure of the City Council and serve
for the term as follows:

Section 2. That a sufficient number of applications were not received for consideration of
appointment to Office No. 6 Tenant position) and the City Council directs staff to re-send the
notice to Baldwin Park resident Housing participants and bring back to a future meeting for
appointment; and
Section 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and forward
a copy to this resolution to all appointees and to the Housing Commission Secretary.
