A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2010-007
APPOINTING INDIVIDUALS TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK, SPECIFICALLY: RALPH
GALVAN TO OFFICE NO. 3 FOR A TERM TO EXPIRE JUNE 30,
2012; BRYAN URIAS TO OFFICE NO. 4 FOR A TERM TO
EXPIRE JUNE 30, 2012; AND ANGELA ALVARADO TO OFFICE
NO. 5 FOR A TERM TO EXPIRE JUNE 30, 2012
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission consists of five 5) members and
members are appointed to a two-year term on a staggered basis; and
WHEREAS, Planning Commissioners Galvan, Urias and Alvarado's terms in
Office Nos. 3, 4 and 5 respectively expire on June 30, 2010;
WHEREAS, a public Notice of Vacancy was posted for a minimum of 10-days at
three locations within the city, was published in the San Gabriel Valley Tribune, was
posted on the marquees at Morgan Park and the Teen Center was posted on the city's
website as well as in the March/April and April/May issues of the NOW. The deadline
for submission was May 3, 2010 at 6:00 p.m.
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to fill the scheduled vacancies of Office
Nos. 3, 4 and 5; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Baldwin Park Municipal Code Section 32.67,
appointments to Office Nos. 3, 4 and 5 are made and entered onto this Resolution for a
term expiring June 30, 2012.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following named persons are hereby appointed as a
members of Office Nos. 1 and 2 and such shall hold office at the pleasure of the City
Council and serve for the terms as follows:
Office 1 JAMES R. DEXTER II for the term to June 30, 2011
Office 2 DAVID L. MUSE for the term to June 30, 2011
Office 3 RALPH GALVAN for the term to June 30, 2012
Office 4 BRYAN URIAS for the term to June 30, 2012
Office 5 ANGELA ALVARADO for the term to June 30, 2012

Section 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and
forward a copy of this Resolution to Commission appointees and a copy to the
Commission secretary.
