AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING
CHAPTER 92 OF THE BALDIWN PARK MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ANIMAL CONTROL
WHEREAS, Chapter 92 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code adopts by reference
the animal control regulations set forth in Title 10, Animals, of the Los Angeles County
Code (the "County Animal Control Regulations"); and
WHEREAS, Title 10 of the Los Angeles County Code has been amended since
Chapter 92 was previously adopted; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to adopt the revised County Animal Control
Regulations.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK
DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1, Chapter 92 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code is hereby amended
to read as follows:
CHAPTER 92 ANIMAL CONTROL
§ 92.01 ADOPTION OF COUNTY ORDINANCE.
(A)Subject to the provisions of Sections 92.02 and 92.03, Title 10 of the
Los Angeles County Code, in effect as of the operative date of Ordinance No.
1345 ("Title 10"), is adopted by this reference, as the Baldwin Park Animal
Control Regulations.
(B)Copies of the Baldwin Park Animal Control Regulations are on file in the office
of the City Clerk of the City and are available for inspection by interested
members of the public.
§ 92.02 DEFINITIONS
Wherever the following words or phrases are used in Title 10, they respectively
shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section:
"County Clerk" shall mean the City Clerk of the City of Baldwin Park.
"County" or"County of Los Angeles" shall mean the City of Baldwin Park.
§ 92.03 LICENSE FEES AND PENALTIES
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in Title 10, license fees
and penalties applicable to the Baldwin Park Animal Control Regulations shall be
set by resolution of the City Council.
