Moved by Councilman Bloxham, seconded by Councilman Duskin, and unanimously carried, that the City Administrator be authorized to employ additional help to prepare this ordinance. The City Clerk reported that $157.09 had been used from the Replenishment of the Revolving Fund for the purchase of postage and miscellaneous Revolving Fund in office supplies, and requested authority to replenish the the amount of $157.09; Revolving Fund in this amount from the General Fund. Approved. Moved by Councilman Duskin, seconded by Councilman Bloxham, and unanimously carried, that the Revolving Fund be replen- ished in the amount of $157.09. Resolution of the Board of Supervisors, Los Angebs County, re oonstruction and maintenance of all streets within the City of Baldwin Park for balance of fiscal year 1955-56 in the amount of $40,900.00, and giving detailed breakdown of how these funds will be utilized. No action required. City Clerk requested approval of issuance of business license to George S. & Agase Agajanian dba Selma Rubbish Company for one truck. Moved by Councilman Cole, seconded by Councilman Bloxham, and unanimously carried, that the issuance of this license be approved. Application of Theodore Hill, dba Ted*s Disposal Service for business license for collection of garbage and rubbish. Moved by Mayor Littlejohn, seconded by Councilman Cole, and unanimously carried, that this matter be tabled until the City Council. hears from Mr. Hill on this matter. The City Administrator reported that he had received only two bids for furnishing Fleet, General Public Liability and Property Damage Insurance, both submitted by the same agency. He recommended that both be rejected and the speci- fications redrawn, but that if the Council decided to accept either of the bids submitted, that it accept that of Pacific Indemnity Company as being the most advantageous to the City. Moved by Councilman Duskin and seconded by Councilman Cole, that the Council accept the low bid of $1749.60 on Alternate Four for a three year period, and that the contract be awarded to the Pacific Iddem pity Company. Francisquito Ave., Baldwin Park, Calif., appeared to speak an behalf of eight or nine members of the Trailer Association, requesting revision of the City Ordi- nance requiring payment of a fee of $2.00 for each trailer space in trailer parks. He also requested. abolishment of the affidavit now required incident to obtaining a business license for certain businesses, particularly as it applies to trailer parks. We. Eugenia Igna, 12935 E. Moved by Councilman Bloxhaa, seconded by Councilmen Durkin, and unanimously carried., that the City Attorney be directed to draw an ordinance permitting angle parking between Earl Avenue and Corak Street, on the south side of lmona Boulevard. Councilman Bloxham reported on request for provision of a loading zone of 40 feet in front of Methodist Church on Maine Ave. Moved by Councilman Littlejohn, sedoaied by Councilmen Bloxhaa, and unanimously carried., that the City Attorney be directed to prepare the necessary amendment to the City Ordinances to provide for such a loading zone. Councilman Cole reported on leading zone no longer used in the vicinity of Old Central School. Moved by Councilmen Cole, seconded by Councilman buskin, and unanimously carried, that the City Atministrator be directed to arrange for removal of yellow zone in the vicinity of Old Central School, and that request be Wade to have all areas surrouming fire hydrants on curbed and guttered streets properly painted. Moved by Councilman Cole, seconded by Councilman Durkin, and unanimously carried, that the meeting be adjourned.. Adjournment, 10:0 P.M.
