COUNCIL CHAMBERS)
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Bloxham at 6:40 P.M.
Mayor Bloxham led the salute to the Flag. Flag Salute
ROLL CALL: Present: Councilmen Cole, Duskin, Littlejohn, Roll Call
Scovotti and Bloxham, City Clerk,
City Attorney.
All councilmen present acknowledged receipt of written notice
of meeting t;aenty-four or more hours prior to the time of
meeting.
Mr. Blakesley, City Engineer, joined the meeting at 6:115
P.M.
Cavmci man Duskin made the following motion, seconded LACO Bond Issue
by N yor Bloxham:
At this tics I move that the previous notion of August
14, 1956, recommending Los Angeles Street as a street for
initial consideration of the use of funds under the
Citizens Bond Issue, be brought before tie Council for re-
consideration and that it be Laid upon the table for the
purpose of submitting further and additional matters for
consideration.
This mcticn adopted by the following vcte:
AYE,: Courcilmer_ Cole, ihuskd.n, Littlejohn, Scovotti and
Ploxharr.
NOES: None
ABSENT None
Moved by Councilman Durkin and seccndcd by Mayor Bloxhan,
that we list Baldwin Park Boulevard, Ramona Boulevard and
Los AnE-eles Street as the streets to b: considered to
spend this sm of money on in connection with the overall
development in this proposed Los Angeles County High way
Bond Issue.
This motion adopted by the following vote:
AYES: Councilman Cole, Duskin, Littlejohn, Scovotti
and Bloxham.
NOES: Lone
ABSENT Lon:;
Moved by Councilman Cole, seconded by Mayor Bloxham, a d
unanimously carried that the record show that this motion
supersedes that of August 14th, 1956.
Moved by Councilman Cole, seconded by Councilman Little, john, Adjournment
and unanimously carried, that the meeting adjourn.
