Arnold Letter 11-28-56 was presented, in which he requested permission to resign from Mr. Thos. J. rather than be discharged. Arnold. Police Consultant Skouland stated that he had explained Accepted as letter to Mr. Arnold that if he wished to send in a letter of of resignation. resignation before December 1, 1956 that it would be accepted. Mr. Arnold stated that he would like his letter of Nov- ember 28, 1956 to be considered as a request to resign. Moved by Councilman Cole, seconded by Councilman Scovotti, and unanimously carried, that Letter from IM1r. Arnold dated November 28,1956 be accepted as Mr. Arnold's resignation as of midnight November 30,1956.
