BALDWIN PARK CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING

CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Lozano at 5:30 p.m.

PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS
None.
STUDY SESSION/OPEN SESSION
1. HEALTHY EATING ACTIVE LIVING (HEAL) GRANT UPDATE BY REPRESENTATIVES
OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY AND CALIFORNIA CENTER OF PUBLIC HEALTH
ADVOCACY (CCPHA).
Representatives of Los Angeles County and California Center of Public Health provided the
City Council with an update on the HEAL grant. Discussion ensued regarding the grant.
2. PRESENTATION BY THE SAN GABRIEL VALLEY MOSQUITO AND VECTOR CONTROL
DISTRICT ON THE ASIAN TIGER MOSQUITO AND POSSIBLE ANNEXATION INTO THE
DISTRICT.
The San Gabriel Valley Mosquito and Vector Control District provided an update on the
Asian Tiger Mosquito and possible annexation into the District. Discussion ensued
regarding the Tiger Mosquito and annexation.
RECESS/RECONVENE
The Special Meeting was recessed at 7:15 p.m. and reconvened in Closed Session at 9:20 p.m.

on these items, thus there is nothing to report out.
