RESOLUTION NO. 2015-067
• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN
PARK, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE COMMITTEE CURRENTLY
KNOWN AS THE 2 + 2 + 2 COMMITTEE TO BE RENAMED AND
KNOWN AS THE COMMUNITY COLLABORATION COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, The 2+2+2 Committee is a City of Baldwin Park standing committee
composed of 2 members of the Baldwin Park City Council, 2 members of the Baldwin
Park Unified School District and 2 members of the Valley County Water District; and,
WHEREAS, The purpose of the committee is to share information, discuss
issues common to all three member agencies and coordinate common solution; and,
WHEREAS, On February 17, 2015, during its regularly scheduled meeting, the
committee discussed the appropriateness of its "2+2+2 Committee" name as it does not
represent the scope of its collaborative function; and,
WHEREAS, On March 17, 2015, during its regularly scheduled meeting, the
Committee considered the options and unanimously voted to rename the committee as
the "Community Collaboration Committee"; and,
• WHEREAS, Each member Agency will present a similar Resolution authorizing
the committee currently known as the "2+2+2 Committee" to be renamed and known as
the "Community Collaborative Committee".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND
ORDERED BY THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park, the Baldwin Park
Unified School District and the Valley County Water District shall each adopt a
Resolution authorizing the committee currently known as the "2+2+2 Committee" to be
renamed and known as the "Community Collaborative Committee".
SECTION 2. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park authorizes the
committee currently known as the "2+2+2 Committee" to be renamed and known as the
"Community Collaborative Committee".
SECTION 3. That this Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon adoption
and shall be submitted to the appropriate authorities at the Baldwin Park Unified School
District and the Valley County Water District.
