• CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Lozano at 6:05 p.m.
ROLL CALL:
Council Member Cruz Baca
Council Member Monica Garcia
Council Member Susan Rubio
Mayor Pro Tern Ricardo Pacheco
Mayor Manuel Lozano
PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS
Public Communications were opened at 6:06 p.m.
Seeing no one wishing to speak, Public Communications were closed at 6:06 p.m.
STUDY SESSION/OPEN SESSION
1. FISCAL YEAR 2014/2015 PROPOSED BUDGET
1) Introduction and Overview of General Fund Budget FY 2014/15
2) Review of Projected General Fund Revenues
3) Departmental Reviews and Presentations
• a. Police Department
b. Neighborhood Safety Services
c. Recreation & Community Services
4) Other Budget Matters
5) City Council Comments and Discussion
Craig Graves, Director of Finance, narrated a PowerPoint presentation to review the previous
year's fiscal budget, the current expense allocations to date and projected expenditures
expected through the end of the current fiscal year; provided a review of upcoming projects and
expected General Fund revenues.
In conjunction with the respective department managers/directors, Director Graves provided a
review of current department financial activities and projected appropriations, and provided
overview of proposed projects and programs for Council consideration.
Director Graves and respective department managers/directors responded to questions from
Council. ,
