OLD CENTRAL SCHOOL AUDITORIUM, BALDWIN PARK, FRIDAY, JANUARY 10, 1958, 12:00 Noon
Council Chambers) SPECIAL MEETING)
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park met in Special
Executive Session at the above place at 12:00 o'clock noon.
Present were Councilmen Bishop, Cole, Holmes, Stephens and Roll Call
Littlejohn; City Clerk and City Attorney.
All members of the City Council acknowledged receipt of
Notice of the meeting.
The meeting was called for the purpose of making selection
of Chief Administrative Officer.
The qualifications of four candidates were discussed.
Moved by Mayor Littlejohn, and seconded by Councilman Eugene R. Asmus
Stephens, that Eugene R. Asmus be appointed the Chief Appointed Chief
Administrative Officer and the Director of Finance of the Administrative Officer
City of Baldwin Park, effective February 1, 1958, at the and Director of Finance
combined salary of $833,00 per month for both positions.
This motion was carried by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Bishop, Cole, Holmes, Stephens and
Littlejohn.
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
Moved by Councilman Stephens, seconded by Councilman Bishop,
and unanimously carried, that the meeting adjourn.
