A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN
PARK AMENDING RESOLUTION 2014-026 REVISING THE HOURLY
PAY RANGE SCHEDULE FOR PART-TIME POSITIONS.
WHEREAS, on September 25, 2013, the California Legislature enacted legislation

signed by the Governor of California, raising the minimum wage for all industries; and
WHEREAS, the minimum wage will increase to $10.50 hourly on January 1, 2017;
WHEREAS, the City has certain part-time classifications that fall below the new
minimum wage amounts; and
WHEREAS, the City of Baldwin Park is revising the pay range schedule to comply
with State Law.
NOW, THERFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby
RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1. That this City Council does hereby approve and authorize the creation
of a comprehensive City of Baldwin Park Pay Schedule that includes pay rate
information for all full-time and part-time employees as well as Elected Officials,
attached hereto as Exhibit "A," to be effective January 1, 2017.
Section 2. Resolutions or portions thereof in conflict hereby are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution
and shall forward a certified copy hereof to each Department Head and the Human
Resources Manager.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 7nd day of December 2016.

Park at a regular meeting thereof held on December 7, 2016 and that the same was adopted by
