RESOLUTION NO. 2018-232
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE -
INITIATION OF THE PROCEEDINGS AND ORDERING THE
PREPARATION OF THE ENGINEER'S REPORT FOR THE
FY 2018-19 LEVY OF ANNUAL ASSESSMENTS FOR THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING
MAINTENANCE DISTRICT PURSUANT TO THE
PROVISIONS OF DIVISION 15, PART 2 OF THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE
•
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park has previously formed a
Landscaping and Lighting Maintenance District (hereinafter referred to as the District)
pursuant to the terms and provisions of the "Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972",
Division 15, Part 2 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, at this time, this City Council desires to conduct proceedings to provide
for the annual levy of assessments for the next ensuing fiscal year, to provide for the costs
and expenses necessary for continual maintenance of improvements within said District;
and
WHEREAS, the provisions of said Division 15, Part 2, require a written report in
accordance with Chapter 3 (commencing with Section 22620).
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true, correct, and are hereby incorporated
herein.
SECTION 2. The Director of Public Works is hereby ordered to prepare and file with
the City Council a report relating to the FY 2018-19 levy of annual assessments for said
District in accordance with the Provisions of Chapter 3 (commencing with Section 22620) of
Division 15, Part 2 of the State of California Streets and Highways Code.
SECTION 3. Upon completion, said Report shall be filed with the City Clerk who shall
then submit the same to this City Council for its consideration pursuant to Section 22623 of
said Streets and Highways Code.

Baldwin Park at a regular meeting thereof held on March 21, 2018 and that the same was
