BALDWIN PARK CITY COUNCIL STUDY SESSION
AND SPECIAL MEETING
APRIL 4, 2018, 5:30 P.M.

CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 5:35 p.m. by Mayor Lozano.

Mayor Lozano opened Public Communications at 5:36 p.m.

Seeing no one wishing to speak, Public Communications closed at 5:36 p.m.
OPEN SESSION
1. GENERAL PLAN/ZONING CONSISTENCY CHANGES (CITYWIDE)
Presentation by City Planner Amy Harbin
City Planner Harbin presented the staff report and stated that this action was simply
a clean-up of zoning code amendments that had taken place in the past; answered
Council's questions as to the specific elements in the different plans that were not
consistent.
2. 13057 — 13065 GARVEY AVENUE PRESENTATION
Presentation by MG Development Group, LLC.
Michael Galanakis, President of MG Development Group, LLC, made a presentation
• detailing the architectural renderings at the proposed site.
Members of the City Council commented on the aesthetics shown on the
architectural concept and indicated that they would have liked to have seen a more
pleasing design; stated that the design looked too industrial and that additional
enhancements such as landscaping would be appropriate to incorporate. There
were additional Council comments related to utilizing the site for potential housing
opportunities. .

Mr. Galanakis indicated that this was simply a proposal and that the idea behind this
meeting was to collect feedback from the City Council.

adjourn the meeting at 6:58 p.m.
