A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO ADOPT A SALARY RESOLUTION TO
ESTABLISH A COMPREHENSIVE PAY SCHEDULE FOR ALL FULL TIME
EMPLOYEES, PART TIME EMPLOYEES AND ELECTED OFFICIALS IN
ACCORDANCE WITH CALPERS GUIDELINES.
WHEREAS, California Employees Retirement System (CaIPERS) does require
all government agencies to provide and make available to the public the salary of all full-
time employees, part-time employees and Elected Officials in a single salary format
specified by CaIPERS whenever salary adjustments are made; and
WHEREAS, the City of Baldwin Park, through negotiations with various
employee bargaining groups has established corresponding Memoranda of
Understanding which are in full force and affect; and established individual contracts
with each executive and unclassified management employee to reflect a 2% cost of
living adjustment (COLA) and other salary adjustments as required; and
WHEREAS, the City of Baldwin Park compiled the necessary salary data to
create a single salary schedule required in compliance with the requirements of
CaIPERS and has attached said report to this resolution as with the date, July 1, 2018.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park adopts CC
Resolution No. 2018-293 to create a comprehensive City of Baldwin Park Pay Schedule
that includes pay rate information for all full-time and part-time employees as well as
Elected Officials.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of October, 2018.
