RESOLUTION NO. 2018-261 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK APPROVING THE ADOPTION OF A NEW FEE SCHEDULE FOR ISSUING, PROCESSING AND FILING OF VARIOUS CITY SERVICES AND PERMITS WHEREAS, pursuant to Article XIIIC of the California State Constitution, it is the intent of the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park to require the ascertainment and recovery of costs incurred by the City from the provision of services to the public; and WHEREAS, the City updated the cost of City service fees based on the Consumer • Price Index (CPI) and review of other comparable cities to determine if the City is recouping its costs; and WHEREAS, the proposed new City Fee Schedule was posted on May 2, 2018 and on June 5, 2018 and is available on the City's website; and f WHEREAS, a properly noticed public hearing was held on May 16, 2018 and June 20, 2018 to receive public comments on the proposed new City Fee,Schedule. NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1.The proposed updated Fee Schedule for each fee and service charge is set forth in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated by reference, is hereby approved. SECTION 2. The fees established in Exhibit A shall become effective sixty (60) days after the effective date of this Resolution. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of the Resolution and shall cause the same to be processed in the manner required by law. PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED is 18th day of July 2018.
