Regular Meeting of the Baldwin Park City Council
Considerable discussion followed.
COUNCILMAN LITTLEJOHN MOVED THAT RESOLUTION NO. 60-100 BE
ADOPTED. COUNCILMAN HOLMES SECONDED. The mdtion carried
by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN LITTLEJOHN, HOLMES,
BISHOP, BLOXHAM AND MAYOR COLE
NOES: NONE
ABSENT:. NONE

Councilman Holmes reported that on Wednesday, November 9, 1960,
the Upper San Gabriel Valley Water Association would meet at
Eaton's, Santa Anita at 6:30 p.m., and extended an invitation
to all members of Council.

Councilman Holmes reported that the East San Gabriel Valley
Planning Commission meeting would be held November 30, 1960,
at 7:00 p.m. In the Baldwin Park Bowl, to which the City of
Baldwin Park will be host, and Invited all members ofCouncil
to attend.'
It was the suggestion of Mayor Cole that the Chief Administra-
tive Officer send notices to all members of Council reminding
them of this meeting.

Chief Administrative Officer Asmus reported that the Planning
Commission would like to meet in a joint sea:ion with Council
this Thursday, November 10, 1960, to discuss the general ideas
of Council regarding lot splits that are coming up wherein they
close off a potential street in a backyard area, and other
problems.

Chief Administrative Officer Asmus reported on the proposed
parking district, elaborating on the necessary procedures
involved; that it was his opinion there was sincere interest
in establishing the district; that, the City cannot hold up
the'Issuance of a building permit until such time as a peti-
tion is presented.
Considerable discussion ensued, with no decision being reached.

AT 11:38 O'CLOCK P.M., COUNCILMAN LITTLEJOHN• MOVED THAT COUNCIL
ADJOURN. COUNCILMAN BISHOP SECONDED. There were no objections,
that motion carried and was so ordered by Mayor Cole.
