RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN
PARK, SETTING THE APPROPRIATION LIMIT FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 2019-20
WHEREAS, Article XIIIB of the California Constitution requires the Legislative
Body to establish an Appropriations Limit annually beginning with the fiscal year
ending June 30, 1981; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is required by Section 7910 of the Government
Code to establish its Appropriations Limit by Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Appropriations Limit documentation has been available for
public inspection for the required fifteen days; in accordance with Section 7910 of the
Government Code, prior to the approval of the limit by the Legislative Body.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN
PARK HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Appropriations Limit for the Fiscal Year 2019-20 has been
determined to be $81,380,392 and was prepared using the change in the Per Capita
Personal Income change of 3.85% and the City population change of 0.16% as
provided by the State Department of Finance, pursuant to Sections 2227 and 2228
of the Revenue and Taxation Codes, calculations as of January 2019.
Section 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution
and the same shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 17th day of July, 2019.

Baldwin Park at a regular meeting thereof held on July 17, 2019 and that the same was
