A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN
PARK, TO APPROVE MEMBERSHIP WITH THE CSAC EXCESS
INSURANCE AUTHORITY (AUTHORITY) TO FUND EXCESS
INSURANCE AND OTHER INSURANCE PROGRAMS FOR THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK
WHEREAS, the City of Baldwin Park desires to join together with the members of the
CSAC Excess Insurance Authority (Authority) for the purpose of jointly funding and/or
establishing excess and other insurance programs as determined; and
WHEREAS, the Authority has determined that is necessary for each member to
delegate to the Chief Executive Officer and/or the Human Resources/Risk Manager to act
on the member's behalf in matters relating to the member and the Authority; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has directed the Chief Executive Officer to enter into an
Agreement with CSAC to provide the City of Baldwin Park necessary insurance coverages
and protection in exchange for affordable premiums to continue operating its business in an
efficient manner.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 2. This City Clerk shall enter this Resolution into the official book of
resolutions.

Resolution No. 2019-020 was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park at
a regular meeting thereof held on May 15, 2019 and that the same was adopted by the
