The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park met in
special session at the above place at 7:30 p.m.

Mayor Bloxham announced that this was a special meeting; FOUR ITEMS ON
that there were four items to be considered on the Agenda: AGENDA
1. Opening of Bids 62-A-I
2. 2nd Quarterly Report Chamber of Commerce
3. Application for use of Room 100 by Congress-
man Cameron
4. Information Re RoseGlen Condominium
In answer to Mayor Bloxham's inquiry, the Council members PROPER NOTICE OF
stated they had received proper notice of the meeting. MTG. RECEIVED

Chief Administrative Officer Nordby stated that the second 2ND QUARTERLY REPORT
quarterly report of the Chamber of Commerce dated October 14, CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
1963 had been distributed to the Council prior to the
meeting.
Mayor Bloxham stated this was an information item only and NO ACTION REQUIRED
NO ACTION WAS REQUIRED.

Chief Administrative Officer Nordby reported that Congress- REQUEST BY CONGRESS-
man Cameron had requested the use of Room 100 for one day MAN CAMERON FOR USE
only, Friday, November 8, 1963, starting at 7:30 p.m. and OF ROOM 100, NOV. 8,
lasting approximately two hours; that this was to be a work- 1963, STARTING AT

Discussion followed that there was to be discussion regarding
federal aid; that this was not to be a political rally.
COUNCILMAN BISHOP MOVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL EXTEND THE
FACILITIES OF THE CITY HALL ROOM 100) TO CONGRESSMAN
CAMERON FOR ONE NIGHT NOVEMBER 8, 1963). COUNCILMAN
MOREHEAD SECONDED. There were no objections, the motion
carried and was so ordered by Mayor Bloxham.

Chief Administrative Officer Nordby stated that Mr. Bill
Norris, a representative of the condominium project at
Vineland and Garvey, had telephoned his office and
invited the Council to tour the project.

In answer to a question by Councilman Bishop, City Attorney
Flandrick stated, in his opinion, the Council could view
the premises; that this was the subject of a zone change
presently before the Council as well as a tract map. He
suggested that the Council view the premises, in groups of
two or less.
Mayor Bloxham and Councilman Morehead indicated they would
like to view the project Saturday, November 2, 1963, at

approximately 10:00 a.m., and Councilwoman Taylor stated
