The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park met in regular session at the above place at 7:30 p.m. City Engineer French led the salute to the flag. COUNCILWOMAN GREGORY SECONDED. There were no objections, the motion carried and was so ordered. 00- Chief Administrative Officer Nordby reviewed his report regarding Resolution No. 67-235. He stated the present files now line the walls twenty-six 26) feet in length, twenty-six 26) inches deep and approximately five 5) feet high; that after microfilming these same records would occupy a space five 5) inches by five 5) inches by twelve 12) inches; that he recommended Resolution Noe 67-235 be adopted and the records be destroyed. Discussion followed as to various methods of record destruction. He stated that all collec- tions from Chaper 27, 1911 assessments would be deposited in this fund; that payments would be made out of this fund; that this would eliminate the necessity of treating each assessment district as individual assessment districts and keeping individual records for each one; that there would be complete control on everyone of the assessment districts; that he recommended adoption of Resolution No. 67-223. RESOLUTION NO. 67-223 CREATING A SPECIAL CURB AND GUTTER FUND COUNCILMAN CRITES MOVED THAT RESOLUTION NO. 67-223 BE ADOPTED AND FURTHER READING BE WAIVED. COUNCILMAN ADAIR SECONDED. There were no objections, the motion carried and was so ordered. City Engineer French stated that the special curb and gutter fund having been created an advance was needed out of General Funds to continue the fund in operation until the City collects back assessments from the County Assessor; that the back assessment amount was $15,150.36; that he was requesting that Council make an advance out of unappropriated reserves for this amount which would be paid back to the un- appropriated reserves when the tax collection was made. City Attorney Flandrick stated that the transfer of funds could be accomplished at the present time by motion of the City Council; that probably at a sub- sequent date the City auditor would require a resolu tion. COUNCILMAN ADAIR MOVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL ACCEPT THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE CITY ENGINEER AND AUTHORIZE THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS. COUNCILWOMAN GREGORY SECONDED. Roll Call.
