There were no objections, the motion carried and was so ordered. 00- Planning Director ChIvetta reviewed the report from the ANNEXATION PROCEDURAL Annexation Procedural Committee. He stated that during COMMITTEE REPORT RE the last few months the Cometttee had been studying the STUDY OF UNINHABITED uninhabited and unincorporated lands that surround the AND UNINCORPORATED City of Baldwin Park for the possibility of annexing LANDS these lands to the community; that the areas studied could only be serviced by the City of Baldwin Park; that if the areas were annexed this would provide a squaring off of the City's boundaries; that it would remove the void of unincorporated territory lying'between EI Aente, Irwindale, Industry and Baldwin Park; that the Annexation Procedural Committee recommended that Council initiate proceedings for annexation with the Local Agency Formation Omission in accordance with Section 35002 of the Govern- ment Code; that the area that was bounded on the north by Ramona Boulevard on the south by the Southern Pacific right-of-way, which was actually 30 ft northerly of Valley Boulevard,on the west by Et Monte and the City of Industry's boundary lines and the east by the 605 Freeway right-of-way line; that the area proposed for annexation contained 155 acres more or less; that it was a quarter square mile in area; that the area was presently owned by Southern Calif- oornla Edison, Los Angeles County Flood Controt, the State of California and one other party.
