Z-248) Z-248) Discussion followed that this was property on Lante Street DISCUSSION on which a hearing had been held In 1964; that dedications and Improvement agreements had been signed by all owners except at 3063 Lante. This lot will be deleted as they were unable to make dedication. There was further discussion that the rezoning could cause problems if the area were to be used for storage as there were residential units ajoining. This area is being considered at the present time as part of Zone Case Z-310. Mayor McCaron stated that this ordinance would be pieced on the agenda for second reading at a future meeting to be designated by the City Council. SERVICES MORGAN PARK POOL Chief Administrative Officer Nordby explained this resolution FORMALIZE INSUR- is to formalize the insurance coverage for the lifeguard ANCE COVERAGE personnel at Morgan Park. There were no ADOPTED objections, the motion carried and was so ordered. 00- 1968 08 21 CC MIN ×P$T ˜ö0003905 Regular Meeting of the Baldwin Park City Council August 21, 1968 Page 4 Chief Administrative Officer Nordby explained that RECOMMENDATION TO the Student Work Study Program was possible under SIGN AND EXECUTE the federally assisted work-study program. There STUDENT WORK- are 27 students now working for the City; 17 in the STUDY AGREEMENT Recreation Program and 10 at City Hall. The City must assume one-fourth of the hourly rate of $1.30 for each student as of July 1, 1968. The City's cost amounts to 32 1/20 per hour per student. The School District and the Federal Government assume all the other costs. The City's cost for students whose employment ends August 31, 1968 is $1,606. He rec- ommended that the agreement which formalizes the action be signed and executed.
