Some HELD OVER 800 million dollars in bonds have been approved by the voters of the state to complete the state water project of which about 600 million remain. The Watson Initiative," if adopted, would- prevent the state from selling any further bonds to complete the water system. He stated that time is getting short between now and the 5th of November, and it will be a job to inform the voters both pro and con on this matter. He explained that if this amendment passes, it will have an effect on the bond market, and it will wipe out Baldwin Park as far as oar own projects are concerned. By consolidating the maximum amount of percentage of bonds permitted by all revenue districts, including the state, there would be nothing remaining for municipalities and certainly not for Baldwin Park.
