There were no objections, the motion carried and was so orderede 00- Councilman Gregory announced that she had attended a luncheon meeting, as a board member, of United Way; that during the 1969-70 United Crusade Campaign $15,000. was raised and Baldwin Park made 104% of goat; that she had accepted two awards for absentee members of the official family, for Planning Director Chivetta and City Manager Nordby; that this was in addition to the certificate and the gold plaque which was won last year. She stated that she was very proud of the endeavors and efforts expended by the people at City Hall. 00- City Manager Nordby stated that he had been notified by Mr^ and Mrs. Scott, that they would no longer be operating the Snack Bar at Morgan Park, that the City had advertised for operators: that Richard Lugo, 16360 McGill Street, Covina, who operates snack bars in Covina and Alhambra had expressed interest in taking over the operation,, He recommended that an agreement between the City and Mr, Lugo be approved.
