Pacific Avenue WEDNESDAY, MAY 7, 1980 AT 7:30 P.M. The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park met in regular session in the Council Chambers at 7:30 p.m. 00- An invocation was given by Rev. William Walter, Living Hope Baptist Church, Councilman King led the salute to the flag, Roll Call: Present: COUNCILMEN AGUILAR, HOLMAN, KING, McNEILL AND MAYOR WHITE Also Present: CITY MANAGER SEXTON, DIRECTOR OF ADM. CONCUR WITH RECOMMENDATIONS ON CONSENT CALENDAR 00- It was a time and place fixed for a Public Hearing on Vacation of that Certain Utility Easement at Ramona Boulevard and Future Street Easement at Merced Avenue 80-V-l). Proper publications and postings had been accomplished. There were no written protests. Mr. Kelly gave a brief resume of the Agenda Staff report. Mayor White declared the Public Hearing open. As there was no testimony either in favor of or in opposition to 80-V-l, Mayor White declared the Public Hearing closed. RESOLUTION NO. 80-32 ORDERING THE VACATION OF A CERTAIN UTILITY EASEMENT AT RAMONA BOULEVARD AND FUTURE STREET EASEMENT AT MERCED AVENUE 80-V-l) WAIVE FURTHER READING AND ADOPT RES. NO. 80-32. M/S/C: McNEILL/KING. There were no objections. 00- Mr. Halloway explained the proposed use of Federal Revenue Sharing Funds for 1980/81. Mayor White declared the Public Hearing open. Barker, 4842 Lante St., and Naomi O'Dell, 14134 Ballentine, expressed their concern regarding the park. Mr. Lucas responded and will look into situation. Councilman McNeill and Councilman King commented regarding entrance to the park. Mayor White declared the Public Hearing closed. Mr. Flandrick outlined procedure if zoning change were to be initiated. Mayor White ask for concerned parties to come forward.
