The City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park met in adjourned session with the
Human Services Commission in the Council
Chambers at 6:00 P.M.
ROLL CALL PRESENT: COUNCILMAN KING, McNEILL AND
MAYOR PRO TEM IZELL,
COMMISSIONERS ARCHIBEQUE,
DOWELL, PIERCE, WALLACE, AND
CHAIRMAN WALL

The absences of Mayor White, Councilman Gibson, City
Clerk Gair, and City Treasurer Montenegro were
automatically excused.

The meeting of the City Council and the Human Services
Commission adjourned at 6:05 p.m. for a tour of the
City's park facilities.
The adjourned joint meeting was reconvened at Walnut
Creek Nature Park. Roll Call remained the same.
The City Council and the Human Services Commission
discussed the roles and responsibilities of the
Human Services Commission and the Human Services
Element. It was suggested that the City Council
and Human Services Commission have more joint
meetings.
Mayor Pro Tern Izell presented, on behalf of the City
Council, to outgoing Commissioner Dowell a Certificate
of Recognition for years of faithful service on the
Human Services Commission.
