The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park met in regular session in the Activity Building at 7:00 p.m. The Invocation was given by Councilman Gibson. Councilman McNeill led the Flag Salute. There were no objections. 00- JOINT MEETING AND JOINT PUBLIC HEARING Mayor White called the meetings to order and stated that this was a joint meeting of the City Council and the Community Redevelopment Agency, The purpose of this joint public hearing is to consider and act upon the proposed Sierra Vista Redevelopment Plan. Sutton repeat Sutton) Mayor white stated that the Joint Public Hearing would be continued to Thursday, June 26, 1986 at 5:00 p.m. at Ramona Park in the Activity Building. If larger facilities, such as a gym, can be arranged there will be notices placed so that the people will know where to go. Mayor White introduced the public hearing on AZC-109, A City initiated request to amend the Zoning Code revising the termination date of nonconforming uses, the permitted alterations and/or additions to non- conforming buildings or structures, Chapter 17,50), and other revisions to requirements or standards as the City Council may deem necessary". Mayor White declared the public hearing open on AZC-109 and invited those wishing to speak to come forward. There were none. Mayor White declared the public hearing closed. It was moved and seconded to approve Ordinance No. 946, AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING THE ZONING CODE, CHAPTER 17. 50" M/S/C: GIBSON/KING. There were no objections. Mayor White introduced the public hearing on the City's Proposed Annual Budget for the Fiscal Year 1986-87 and the use of Federal Revenue Sharing Funds to be received by the City. Mayor White declared the public hearing open on the Proposed Annual Budget and invited those wishing to speak to come forward. Hank Ramey, 14903 Alvine Lane, spoke regarding giving serious consideration to making cuts in the budget and also on the utility tax. There were no objections. RESOLUTION NO. 86-45 APPROVED 00- REPORTS OF OFFICERS, COMMISSIONS AND COMMITTEES Mayor White stated that the report on the Proposal for Liability Insurance ICRMA would be held over to the June 26th meeting.
