THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK, CITY HALL,

19, 1989
The City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park met in special session in the
Council Chambers at 5:00 p.m.
ROLL CALL: PRESENT: COUNCILMEMBERS GIBSON, IZELL, ROLL CALL
LOWES, MCNEILL AND MAYOR KING
ALSO PRESENT: City Manager Webb,
City Attorney Flandrick, and
City Clerk Gair

Mayor King stated that the Special Meeting was called to MEETING
order for the purpose of the one agenda item, CALLED TO
Consideration of the Termination of the Employment of ORDER
the City Manager."
City Attorney Flandrick recommended to the City Council CITY
that they recess to a Closed Session at this time to ATTORNEY
discuss the matter on the agenda before taking any RECOMMEN-
action with reference to it. The Closed Session is DATION
authorized under the Brown Act under Section 54957 and
under Section 54956.9 b).

The Special Meeting of the City Council was recessed to CLOSED
a Closed Session at 5:01 p.m. SESSION
The City Council was reconvened at 5:28 p.m. Roll Call IN SESSION
remained the same.
City Attorney Flandrick stated that the Closed Session STAFF
has been held, discussions were engaged in and in the RECOMMEN-
course of the Closed Session the Staff recommendation to DATION
the Council is that a document entitled, Separation
Agreement and Release," be approved. This agreement is
dated today, it is between the City and Mr. Webb.
Copies will be available after it is executed with
various changes by interlination. He recommended that
the Council approve the agreement.
It was moved and seconded to approve the Separation MOTION
Agreement and Release" as amended relating Ralph H.
Webb, City Manager. H/S: LOWES/MCNEILL.

NOES: NONE SEPARATION

It was moved and seconded to adjourn the Special Meeting MEETING
of the City Council at 5:30 p.m. H/S/C: GIBSON/LOWES. ADJOURNED
There were no objections. 5:30 P.M.
