The City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park met in a study session session in
the Room 307 at 6:00 p.m.
ROLL CALL: PRESENT: COUNCILMEMBERS GALLEGOS, MARTINEZ, ROLL CALL
MUSE AND MAYOR VARGAS
ALSO PRESENT: Dir. of Administrative Yeats,
Police Chief Lanza,
Dir. of Public Works Mousavi,
Dir. of community Dev. Carbajal,
Dir. of Human Services Nunez, and
City Clerk Gair

The absence of Councilwoman McNeill was excused. ABSENCE
EXCUSED

Mayor Vargas declared the study session in session at IN SESSION
6:00 p.m.
Topics were: TOPICS
Director of Administrative Services Yeats suggested
changing the employee computer purchase program and the
25% paid by the employee. This amount has become cost
prohibitive for some the employees wishing to purchase a
computer.
The new design of the budget was distributed and
explained by Mr. Yeats. The possible public hearing
dates and meetings with the Executive Team was briefly
discussed.
Director of Public Works Mousavi presented a handout on
a possible graffiti removal truck. The capabilties of
the truck, the cost of the truck and the cost coming
from General Fund monies were discussed.
City Council requested that the new crime report that
the mayor had received be distributed to everyone. They
also requested that the front page of NOW be used to
print this information.
The study session was dismissed at 7:00 p.m.
