In response to Councilmember Lowes, City Attorney Bower stated that by law they have
to put the questions in the final EIR with a written response and they list the name and
address of the person asking the question.

The regular meeting of the City Council recessed at 8:20 p.m.
The regular meeting of the City Council reconvened at 8:25 p.m. Roll call remained
the same.

CLOSED SESSION
The regular meeting of the City Council adjourned to a Closes Session to consider
PUBLIC EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT, Reorganization Plan Community Development
Department, pursuant to Government Code 54957.
The regular meeting of the City Council reconvened at 8:55 p.m. Roll call remained the
same.
In Closed Session Staff was directed by Council to bring back a report regarding the
crosswalk near Vineland and Merced. No other action was taken.

The regular meeting of the City Council adjourned at 9:00 p.m. in memory of El
Monte Councilwoman Marie Avila. There were no objections
