speak on any subject to come forward. There were none.

The regular Study Session was recessed at 6:06 p.m.

CLOSED SESSION
The regular Study Session of the City Council was adjourned to a Closed Session to
consider Conference With Legal Counsel, Existing Litigation, Name of Case: Ochoa vs.
City of Baldwin Park, pursuant to Government Code 54956.9.
Council authorized settlement for the Ochoa case.

The regular Study Session reconvened at 6:35 p.m. Roll call remained the same.

TOPICS OF DISCUSSION
Director of Administrative Services Yeats explained that as part of the Fiscal Year 1996-
97 and 1997-98, staff recommended that all City Commission members be compensated
for their attendance at regular meetings. The salary resolution will be on the Council
agenda September 4th that will reflect the commission compensation.
